About Me
Hi, I am Alison, a karate instructor in North Yorkshire. I started training 13 years ago with my two sons, both of whom have since given up on it. I continued and completed my 3rd Dan Dan grade in October 2012. By that time I had started my instructors journey.
In October 2015, I took my next belt test and graded to 4th Dan, I am now called Master Newband. It is very strange to hear it said!
In the last year, my eldest son has joined me in teaching Karate. He has done extremely well at picking it up again!
I have also recently progressed enough in my T'ai Chi System to be able to teach T'ai Chi and now enjoy showing my new skills to a different set of students.
